These oval diamond stud earrings hold a single natural oval brilliant diamond in each ear. Each diamond sits in four white gold prongs inside a polished gold rim. The rim gives each stone a clean outline and a little more presence on the ear, without needing pavé or side diamonds.
The two tones each have a job. The white prongs blend into the diamond, while the warmer gold frame adds colour around it. The result is a modern, minimal stud with a clear shape: an oval, a fine frame and nothing more.
