This diamond ring in 18k gold centres on an illusion cluster head: a central round brilliant diamond surrounded closely by smaller round brilliants in shared prong settings, the stones fitting together so seamlessly that the entire cluster reads as a single large round diamond of much greater size. The cluster head is elevated on a raised lattice gallery with a studded collar of baguette and round accent diamonds sitting beneath the main setting, adding depth and dimension to the side profile that makes the ring as impressive to view from the side as from above. Flanking the cluster on each shoulder, bold channel-set tapered baguette diamonds run in rectangular bars down both sides of the shank, the clean linear geometry of the baguette cuts creating a deliberate contrast to the rounded, floral character of the cluster centre. Below the shoulders, the shank transitions through split side arches set with micro-pave round accents, the edges of the lower shank finished with fine millgrain and carved geometric detailing that give the ring a vintage sensibility without compromising its overall precision. 0.85 ct round brilliant, 0.49 ct baguette, 1.34 ct total.
